The project MEACAP studies the impact of environmental agreements (Kyoto Protocol, Convention on Biological Diversity) on CAP, addressing modernization and sustainability of agriculture and forestry, including their multifunctional role in order to ensure the sustainable development and promotion of rural areas. MEACAP has seven workpackages. IFER is primarily collaborating in the Work-page 4 (Forestry related options for implementing the Kyoto Protocol).
